Checking in from Japan (can you believe it?)

I think this is the first time I have actually been out of the country. It is both incredibly cool and incredibly weird all at once, but I'm having fun. :) The flight over was incredibly long (incredibly is my new word of the day. Expect to see and hear it everywhere I am,) but the hotel is really nice, and we've had some really good meals so far. I think I really like sushi. Or at least the kinds I've had so far. :) We've done a few touristy things so far, all of which have been neat. I think I like the people-watching parts of the touring as much as visiting the sites themselves. It's interesting just to see how everything is different, but still very much the same. Yvette and I are supposed to go visit this temple thing next. Should be interesting. Incredibly. :)
