My roomies tell me that I should introduce myself.
Hello, my name is Jane, and I am new here. I am living with Amanda and Paige. I really like it here because everyone has been really nice to me. I've met lots of new, fun people so far, and I can't wait to meet everyone! I feel like I know a little bit about a whole lot of people, because I have been reading this journal system. Everyone here sounds cool. Is "sounds" the right word? Because I don't hear you, I read you? I don't know. Picture me looking confused. This is only my fourth time EVER being on a computer (that I know of, anyway). Computers are complicated. Angelo took me to his compsci class and Dr. McCoy was saying all sorts of stuff that I don't understand. I'd like to, though. I've been visiting a lot of classes to see what I'd like to take, and I think I'm going to start regularly on Monday. Professor Xavier has been giving me tests to see which classes would be best for me. They think I'm older than most of the students, but I don't really know a lot. I don't remember my past. Well, I hope to meet everyone I haven't met yet soon, and I hope this is a good post. Thank you for letting me be here!

Hey! :) I was wondering when you'd get around to making a post of your own instead of just commenting. Glad you like it here.

I do like it here. And it's hard to think of something to say in my journal. It's also weird knowing that everyone will read what I say. But neat.

I don't think you could ask for a better pair of roomies, Jane. But, seeing as how Amanda and Paige are two of my favourite people, I suppose I might be just an ickle bit biased.
If you find yourself needing anything, again, just give me a ring. I'm always happy to help.

So long as she got me back undamaged and in one piece, it'd probably be okay. Maybe a rental fee can be arranged. Or she can come supervise.
Or I can go the hell to bed before this sounds as wrong as I think it does.

Thank you, Shinobi. And yeah, Amanda and Paige are great! They are two of my favourite people, too.

Hello. I am glad you like it here so far. ;)
If Amanda has not already offered, would you like to visit Art class on Tuesday? (I cannot promise it will not be strange. Our regular teacher is on sabbitcal, and our long-term substitute has not arrived yet.)

D'uh, Art, of course. Yes, come to Art. Lots of fun, and you can watch Logan be all awkward. *grins*

I do not think we want to -scare- her, Amanda.
Though, it could be worse. We could be doing life models, although that would traumatise Artie.

She rooms with me and Paige, I tink if she was going to be traumatised it would have been that first mornign when Paige broke out the exercise tapes...

Re: ...
She doesn't have Richard Simmons, does she? He freaks me out. My Aunt Mona sweats to the oldies, or she did when I was five, and there are two things you don't want to see at six AM when you're five: Richard Simmons, and my Aunt Mona in spandex tights.
Actually, that's true for all ages.

No, Paige tends more towards some bint called Cindy Crawford. And I have to say, Paige in spandex sounds like a definite improvement on your Aunt Mona. ;)

Re: ...
So is Cindy Crawford in spandex. :)
Aunt Mona's . . . well, she's my dad's older sister, is about all I've been able to say for her. She's a cheek-pincher, and has Views. I'm not entirely sorry she stopped talking to us after the CNN thing.

Re: ...
Oh, you're a dead woman. There is no Cindy Crawford anywhere near my being nevermind my CD player. Contrary to popular belief I do have some taste. Not much, but some.
(But I will agree about the spandex, though)

Absolutly. We are in a bit of a odd place in the class right now, but it should not be too hard to get you caught up.
Which other classes are you taking, by the way?

Re: ...
I am also in Physics and Math and European Literature and Dance and Computer Sciece. It was very very hard to choose which classes I wanted. I wanted to take Biology or Chemistry, but Professor Xavier said that I really needed to know about literature and stuff -- I know almost nothing, I missed a question about something called 'Romeo and Juliet' on the placement tests, apparently it's really famous? -- to be a well-rounded person. I could take more classes, but I'm going to start off slow with six. I've never been to school before (that I recall) so I don't know if I'm any good at it. I'm taking CompSci because Angelo is there and he is fun and I think that I should know more about computers, and I'm taking Dance because I heard about one of the teachers and he sounds cool and I want to meet him and hear about the circus. Physics and Math should be easy and fun. And Art sounds interesting.

Re: ...
Luckily, you get to choose new classes every semester. Some of them, anyway.
I am in your Dance class as well, by the way. Mostly, we are learning some ballroom-type dances, though Doug keeps making comments about some movie. Kurt (the teacher you heard about) is fantastic. Alison Blaire is the other teacher.
Romeo and Juliet is a famous play, written by Shakespere. If you would like, there is a copy of it as a movie in the student lounge - any of us could show you how to use the VCR (or DVD player. It might be on DVD. I am not certain anymore.)
Art is definitly interesting - did you get a list of supplies for this semester, or are they letting you wait until next semester? If you got them already, then I can show you the really fantastic art store in the city over the weekend if you want.

Eee! Roomie Net Hug!
I am also sitting a rather short distance away from you and so needn't say much really, but you're somewhat very awesome and I figured you'd like to know as much.
Done and done.

I'm glad you're here. :) If you need extra help in classes, it's no problem to set up tutors for you. The kids around here love to help out. And your post is great. You know where to find me, from Shinobi's post. There's always something on my door that'll tell you where I am if I'm not in. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.

Like Em said, there's a lot of people around here willing to tutor people. I'd be one of them, because I'm just meddlesome and helpful like that. I'm Doug, if you didn't already know. I room with Jamie and Miles and Artie. Drop by any time if you need help with classes, or just to talk about something.

I've heard that you are good with computers? You did the April Fool's prank with the icons and stuff, so you must be good. I will definately ask you for help if I get in trouble in CompSci. I am already a week behind, so I may be asking soon. Thank you for offering! You're so nice. I like you.

Welcome to the madhouse, Jane. Though that line usually works better for those who aren't transferring here from an aslyum.
I'm Lorna and as the icon shows, I'm the girl with the green hair. Except right now because I dyed it brown.

Well, this place isn't very much like the asylum. Everyone here is much nicer. I like your hair. It's very pretty. Green is one of my favorite colors. Except in meat. Meat shouldn't be green.
