Says who? What about New Year's? That's in January, and people set off a ton of fireworks then!

Yeah, and it annoys the hell out of me. It's one of the few things I miss about home. Only time people shot fireworks off was in July or at those parties off in the middle of nowhere.

Small towns actually do this best, believe it or not.

I liked Xenu better, if only because then we could say you were God to Scientologists. It'd be a great way to scam money from Tom Cruise, but no.... you had to go with Xanadu.

I do have a number of pneumatic launch tubes that could easily be rigged for airburst pyrotechnics. In accordance with all state and local regulations, of course.

But then again, we DO live in a mansion full of a great many people who can light up the skies far more spectacularly than paper-wrapped rockets of flaming incendiary chemicals.

Well, this is New York, so you cannot have...

In other words, nothing that shoots off the ground, explodes, or projects sparks - without a permit.
