I had the best time!

California was wonderful! Thank you thank you thank you Alison and Lorna!
I got to sit between Miles and Bobby on the plane ride and they taught me lots of games like Dots and Tic-tac-toe and Hangman to play! We met Lorna's parents and they were nice. Lorna and Alex were very cute. We went to Disneyland! There was a castle and a mountain and lots of people and pirates and ghosts and giant fuzzy creatures that weren't mutants and a whole shop full of candy! I got to wear my new bikini to the beach and it was warm and nice and the sunset was pretty and Bobby liked my bikini and I really liked California!
I got a bad sunburn, though. And now I'm kind of behind on studying for exams. But I had so much fun it doesn't matter!
What was this about an earthquake happening while we were gone? And what is this music that has Alison so excited?

Glad you had a good time, Jane. Bummer about the sunburn, but the rest of the time sounds like a blast.
The earthquake wasn't really an earthquake, it was Nathan resolving his issues with his precognition. And the whole music thing is a sort of addendum to that. A lot of us had dreams about the Askani (the future people from Nathan's visions), and a lot of their culture has to do with music, so a lot of us dreamed things about their music, and now Alison is on a mission to collect it all.

Actually, the sunburn doesn't matter anymore, so all is well!
I'm glad everything is okay here with Nathan. He seems like a nice man. And Alison on a mission? I think things around here may get a bit intense. She is very focused when it comes to music, I think.

I'm glad you had fun. :) Always wanted to go to Disneyland since I was little, but we never had the chance. If you want help studying for exams, I'm done studying for mine, just about.
Bobby liked your bikini, huh? That's great.

You should go to Disneyland! Or maybe Disney World, which is closer, yes? We should have a roadtrip! To Disney World! EVERYONE can go! This summer, after exams are over and before summer classes start. Can you drive? Do you think the teachers will let us? Wouldn't it be cool!
If you can afford to spend some time helping me, I wouldn't say no. Math and Art and Dance are fine, but I'm having trouble with Computer Science and European Literature. EuroLit especially. I don't understand a lot of it. I like the Romantic poetry stuff, but I'm supposed to be able to interpret the metaphors and I don't really have the, I don't know, the basis? to. Like, I don't get the society. It is frustrating. And some of the other stuff is just boring.
Yes, Bobby liked my bikini. Lorna and Alison have excellent taste.

Lit I can do, and I think I can convince somebody to help with comp sci. ;)
I can drive, yeah, and a road trip would be nifty. I bet we could even get some of the teachers to come along.
They do have excellent taste, I've noticed.

Glad you had a good time, roomie. Lots of fun and games over the weekend, but it looks like things are settling down to what passes for normal around here.
You need any help with the study, just ask... Paige. *grins*

Did you have fun in Boston? Yes, I did have lots of fun over the weekend. And normal is good, don't knock it.
Ask Paige, right. You're silly.

Yep, Boston was fun. Got to see Shinobi and Sarah and go out for a bit. And I wasn't knocking normal, really. Just waiting for things to get un-normal again. *grins*
Well, you wouldn't want to ask me, I'm doing all those non-science things you hate, remember? ;)
(And I'll be coming back to our room in a bit. Need clothes. And a toothbrush would be good. Just need to convince someone *pokes Manuel* that leaving the room is a good idea. If only so Logan doesn't kill me for skipping Art.)

Heh. I think that since I don't really know what normal is, what most people would consider to be un-normal is my normal, if you know what I mean?
Yes. Non-science things are icky, unless they are art things, which are fun. But literature things? Not fun.
Ahh, so that is where you were last night. Cool. And no, skipping Art would not be good, although I don't think he'd KILL you. He's all growl and no bite, at least for us students, anyway, I think.

You and I both on the normal thing, Jane - tho' I've got a slight advantage with some of the foster families I've had. Scarily normal, actually. And I'm still wondering whose brilliant idea it was in Social Services to put me with the extreme Christians. *shudders*
Each to their own - I hate maths and I ain't that good with the science (mainly because it needs the maths, bugger it), but I do like art and languages and the history ain't that hard, it's just the reading I have trouble with. Can't help you with the poetry side of things, tho'.
As for Logan, I ain't about to test what his limits are. I'll be there. *grins*

Bah
The bed is warm, comfy, and entirely too entertaining for words. Or would you prefer the hallway, or your bed, or the Art classroom?

Re: Bah
I dunno, your shower was pretty entertaining too... *grins*
And skipping the class run by the teacher who has plenty of reasons to be pissed off with me already is not a good idea. Besides, I like Art. And I can raid the kitchen afterwards, which means not having to leave the room for a bit longer...

Ahh, the shower.
Yes, that one I remember _quite_ well.
Quite the nimble minx, you are.
Mmm. Foodstuffs. Good to fight off dehydration.

*grins* Thought you'd see it that way. See you in a bit.
